Smart Chef is a web app designed to help the user find recipes based on ingredients, rather than recipe name. The user can also filter the results based on diet restrictions (gluten-free and vegetarian) and prep time.

Smart Chef is a web app designed to help the user find recipes based on ingredients, rather than recipe name. The user can also filter the results based on diet restrictions (gluten-free and vegetarian) and prep time.
I designed the interface using Adobe XD, with the target audience being busy, health conscious people, and chose the layout and colour palette accordingly. This project gave me hands-on experience as I learned React.JS, with each component neatly separated. All recipe info is sourced from Spoonacular's recipe search API.
